Chris is happiest between 3pm and midnight on Fridays.  Don’t try and speak to him any other time because quite frankly he won’t give you the time of day.

The most astonishing thing about Chris is how many pairs of converse trainers he owns.  20 at the last count.  He started collecting them when he banged his head in a sandpit in primary school and suddenly realized that his feet were almost exactly the same size as Rocky Balboa’s.  And he was only 5!

But even more astonishing is what he does – or rather doesn’t do – with them.  All except four pairs are totally unworn.  We suspect this is because his feet are an odd shape – nowhere near as nice as Mr Rocky’s.  Because sadly he chopped off his big toe with a Highland dancing sword shortly after the sandpit incident.  Although he swears he wasn’t dancing we don’t believe him.

Next time you see him ask to have a look at his feet.  But make sure it’s between 3pm and midnight.  And it’s a Friday.
