Apparently Tom does kitesurfing.  And doesn’t think it’s weird.  We thought that might be something to do with beaches and the sea, but apparently not.  Last year he crash-landed on a dual carriageway in Dundee during the rush hour.  Amazing considering he took off from the Dominican Republic.

He’s always liked jumping off things, and is on first name terms with the majority of A&E nurses in the Northern Hemisphere.  We put it down to an early fixation with Maverick from Top Gun.  And his propensity for inventing new alcoholic drinks by mixing together two perfectly good things that really shouldn’t be put together.  Bit like kitesurfing really.

Anyway, if you see someone perched on our window ledge in Covent Garden, stand clear – it’ll be Tom.
